Horrible experience at this shell station I 7/5/17 around 9pm. I think the guy working was the owner. He was an old white man in his 60's or 70's. I got an important phone call from my husband as I was exiting my car regarding our son. I was trying to handle the situation and get off the phone before I got to the counter. The employee immediately looked annoyed as I apparently interrupted his precious smoke break. I got to the counter to prepay (which I never do) and realized I didn't even think to look at the pump number. I apologized that I had forgotten to do this and told him I was in the silver car next to pump 9. He rudely and snidely responded "that's because you're on the phone!!!" I looked at him in awe at how rudely he had said that and he proceeded to follow it up with "the number that comes after 9 is 10. 9... 10. You're on 10. You're going to run into a wall talking on your phone." I was seconds away from losing it on him and taking my business elsewhere (also the other side of 9 could have been 8 for all I knew). But I instead took a deep breath and decided to be the bigger person and handed him my cash. He then proceeded to tell me how I should make sure I have a boy AND a girl child. This man was horrible and rude. I've actually never experienced such outright rudeness like this. I am not one to scream misogyny, but in this case I definitely feel that because I was a woman I was treated this way. I never use shell to begin with but from now on I don't care if I'm on EMPTY... I will not be returning to any shell station.
